Catherine Baker is a genderqueer lesbian writer and academic who was born in London in 1982 and now lives in Hull. She’s a reviewer for Strange Horizons and Women Write About Comics, and has short fiction forthcoming in Emma Bridges and Djibril al-Ayad’s anthology Making Monsters. Her non-fiction has appeared on the Prospect and History Today websites, The Conversation and elsewhere, and she’s published or edited four academic books since 2010.
